Image format: 69.6 x 48.6cm. This includes a 3mm bleed area around the outside edge.
We will select only 1 design per person but you are welcome to apply with up to 3 images for a better chance of selection.
Upload your designs by 10am Monday 7 July 2025 via this application form

Who will buy and who will receive it?
We’re planning on selling the jigsaws in store during the festive period. This is when customers have downtime to enjoy mindful activities such as puzzles. We expect customers to buy these as gifts for loved ones, such as friends and family. Staff may also buy them as a gift on behalf of the University.
What do you want to convey with your design?
The designs should be appealing to the shop’s audience. They should be:
The jigsaw will most likely be a gift, so consider how the receiver would feel when seeing the design.
How does the colour palette impact your design?
We are looking for designs that appeal to a wide audience. Consider interesting, fun visuals rather than challenging ones.
We recommend using a variety of colours and textures. Aim to highlight elements within the jigsaw. This helps differentiate sections and avoid frustration (such as large areas of one colour or repeat patterns).
Is your design original or does it have a fresh take on current jigsaw designs?
We want to provide our customers with a considered design that cannot be bought at any other store. We recommend looking at jigsaws that are currently available. Make an informed design that is new and interesting for experienced puzzle enthusiasts.
Deadline for submissions: Monday 7 July 2025, 10am
