  • Welcome to the Online Application for Incoming students. The deadlines for the application vary according to each College and each course. Please check our website for more information.

    Why is information needed and how will it be used?

    The information supplied to us in the application form will only be used for the purpose of processing your application. By applying and sharing your information with us, your application will be processed on the basis of your consent.

    Privacy Notice

    Purpose: The information in this form will be used to assess your application for study exchange at UAL and to be able to contact you with the outcome. If selected, the information will also be used to inform you about enrolment procedures, information about UAL and details of welcome events. Your information may also be transferred to your home institution’s International Office if they require notification of your application outcome.

    Legal basis - 6(1)(b): Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract

    Storage:  International Relations Unit databases, College International Office databases, on UAL wide databases.

    Retention: End of student relationship + 6 years

    Sharing with other organisations: Your data may be shared with the International Office in your home institution.  

    Storage or transfer outside EEA: Yes. Your data may be shared with the International Office in your home institution either in the EEA or outside the EEA in alignment with the terms of the Bi-lateral or Inter-Institutional Agreement between UAL and your home institution.

    A portfolio is required if you are applying to a practice-based course at any of our colleges. If you are unsure about whether a portfolio is required, please contact the relevant mobility officer at the college you are applying to.

    Please upload your portfolio using the platform requested by the mobility officer at your College (e.g. Flickr, personal website)
