  • Mead Fellowships are designed to help UAL students and alumni develop their creative practice. Mead Fellowships are up to £10,000.

    Deadline: Monday 27 February 2023, at 09:00 (UK time, 9am).

    Your proposed project must be completed between September 2023 and July 2024.

    Undergraduates may apply in the final year of studying for a degree at UAL.

    Postgraduates may apply in their final year of MA / MSc/ MRes / PgDip / PhD courses.

    You may also apply if you graduated from one of the UAL courses listed above during 2022.

    This award is not open to anyone who works at UAL (apart from Art Temps), or to students on UAL Short Courses, Foundation courses, or PG Cert courses.

    Students on UAL Short Courses, Foundation, Diploma or PG Cert courses are not eligible to apply

    • You must attach your Project Proposal form to this online submission, as a Word document or a PDF. Do not exceed the word count for each section on the application form.
       
    • Fields marked * are required. Note: application forms cannot be submitted by email.

  • Note: this is the date of the graduation ceremony for your course, not when the course finished.

  • Careers and Employability is researching how many UAL students and recent graduates become self-employed. This information is being collected for UAL’s self-employment monitoring and has no impact on your application.

  • Make sure you have completed all sections  including the title page without exceeding the word limits. Incomplete or overlong applications will not be processed.
