The Scans for Teaching service allows academic staff at UAL to request and legally use digital copies of copyright materials in their teaching and put it on Moodle for students to access.
The service operates in compliance with our Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) Higher Education Licence and covers (within limits) the copying and making of digital copies from printed and digital books, magazines, journals and websites. To comply with the license, digital copies used in teaching are subject to specific conditions and reporting requirements. Detailed guidance is available on the UAL Library Services web pages.
Academic staff can use this form to request a scan for teaching in connection with a specific course of study which is to be hosted on Moodle. Please use the form to make one request entry at a time. When the request is fulfilled, the requestor will receive a link that can be embedded in the module reading list on Moodle.
Please email copyrightnoticeform@arts.ac.uk for any queries.
